Bhaskar Hazarika NEW DELHI: To focus more on after sales services and satisfaction of the customers, Tata Teleservices is planning to set up exclusive company retail outlets to address the customer complaints. Debashis Sur, COO- Delhi Circle, Tata Teleservices, said that they are planning to increase the exclusive retail outlets to 185 in Delhi and NCR. Currently there are 105 retail outlets in the capital. “The exclusive retail outlets are to grow by 80 per cent within this financial year. We have identified some of the locations where we will set up these outlets,” Sur said. The telecom major would be investing around Rs. 85 crore in setting up these retail outlets, which would also include franchisee outlets. Sur said that the locations where these outlets are planned to be set up are shopping malls, high street areas and metro stations. “We have identified metro stations to be potential area for business. Shops located in the shopping plazas are also important locations for us.” However, the company is also planning to set up eight fulfillment centres across Delhi and NCR by August end. These centres would be located in every zone across the capital city addressing the customer complaints. On the offerings on value added services, Sur said that they have also launched the audio and video streaming for their customers. Tata charges a fixed monthly charge for availing the video and audio streaming. Sur said that the recent launch of two handsets – Samsung Wideo and MotoRAZR V3C by Tata has helped them to boost the new subscriber additions. “We cannot share any data on the VAS market share, but it is on a doubling path compared to in the last two years,” Sur added. © CyberMedia News
