NEW DELHI: Product development firm PTC today announced the expansion of its India R&D Facility under its fully held Indian subsidiary, PTC Software (India) Pvt Ltd in Pune.
The company has leased an additional 35,000 sq ft at the Vascon Weikfield IT CITI Infopark in Pune. The expansion is reflective of the significant contribution that the Pune Centre has made and continues to make to the growth of PTC's core products for the PLM market, including Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire, Windchill PDMLink and Windchill ProjectLink.
Originally formed to accommodate simple development and maintenance tasks, the PTC R&D centre now offers expertise in product development. PTC Software (India) currently has more than 600 employees and the expansion will allow it to grow its staff strength to 900 over the next few years.
