NEW DELHI: Onward Novell Software (I) Pvt. Ltd. will host "Novell Linux Day" conference for business decision makers, business and IT managers, customers and partners at Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi on August 31, September 2 and September 3, respectively. Onward Novell Software is a JV company between Novell Inc. USA and Onward Network Technologies Ltd. on a 50:50 basis.

According to the press release, Novell Linux Day conference would feature high-value keynotes from SUSE Linux CTO, Jeurgen Geck and other thought leaders from the industry, technical solution sessions by Paul Kangro and Niel Marquardt from Novell Asia Pacific.

At the Novell Linux Day event Onward Novell will launch SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.0; the first enterprise-class server to leverage 2.6 Linux kernel for powerful reliability and performance enhancements. The release further states that SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, provides significant performance, scalability, manageability and security enhancements designed to handle corporate workgroup and data center requirements with ease.
