BANGALORE: Recosoft Corporation, the developer of cross platform Macintosh and Windows file format conversion solutions and PDF conversion and recovery tools, ships PDF2Office Professional v4.0 for Windows.

The new PDF2Office Professional v4.0 is a major upgrade to PDF2Office v2.5 Professional; the PDF-to-Office file formats conversion tool for the Windows platform.

PDF2Office Professional v4.0 integrates completely with the latest Office 2007 product family using the ribbon interface and is fully compliant with Windows Vista. It utilizes a client-server computing model delivering optimal performance to convert PDF documents on modern multi-core systems. In addition PDF2Office Professional v4.0 includes new features and enhancements including the capability to convert PDF documents to HTML formats.

The new tool also enables you to recover the data stored in PDF documents - making them available for use by anyone. Since PDF2Office is a stand-alone product, it is not necessary to acquire and install additional PDF editing software and tools, resulting in huge cost savings in both time and expense.

Key features also includes:

Fully compliant with Microsoft Windows Vista. Additionally, it integrates completely with the Microsoft Office 2007 product family; allowing opening of PDF documents directly in Word, PowerPoint, FrontPage and SharePoint Designer.

PDF2Office is now based on a client-server computing architecture. PDF2Office Desktop Server performs the conversions, insulating PDF2Office and Microsoft Office applications from the conversion process delivering optimal performance on modern multi-core systems.

PDF2Office Professional includes the latest PDF Reconstruction v4.0 engine offering dramatic enhancements to convert PDF documents, which includes enhanced table recognition and processing, graphics processing, complex layout and PDF data recognition. Furthermore, new controls for hyphenation management, mathematical formula recognition, image type, image resolution and compression settings have been introduced.

A company release said customers who purchased PDF2Office v2.5 Professional licenses are entitled to a free upgrade to PDF2Office Professional v4.0 for Windows.
