As Director of Technology, Michael is responsible for promoting BEA Platform strategies and core technologies to BEA customers while constantly traveling the Asia-Pacific region evangelizing developers. 

An original employee of WebLogic, Inc. prior to its acquisition by BEA in 1998, Michael has been working with Java and Web-related technologies since the industry's early adoption days. 

Besides working on developing Java technology at BEA, Michael also founded the second Java user group in the world -(http://www.sacjug.org) and has been actively involved in helping Fortune 1000 companies become early adopters of Java for mission-critical businesses. 

Michael is based in Hong Kong and manages Developer Marketing for Asia-Pacific and is the Asia-Pacific CTO office representative. Michael has also spoken at major conferences and seminars around the world.
