Adam FitzGerald

Originally from England, Adam researched mathematical techniques in computer vision at the University of North Carolina before joining BEA. He has been promoting and teaching application design, J2EE development and server administration since joining BEA Systems more than five years ago. His current interests revolve around the blending of open source and commercial software solutions. This includes development tools like Eclipse and BEA Workshop, Java application frameworks like Apache Beehive, Struts and Spring, and execution environments like BEA WebLogic server and Apache Tomcat.

He has co-authored several BEA Education offerings, presented talks at JavaOne and BEAWorld conferences and actively promoted the WebLogic server platform in developer communities.
