BANGALORE: Siemens Ltd. was awarded the best overall stall at the awards ceremony for exhibitors at Bangalore IT.COM 2003 at a gala ceremony held at Palace Grounds last evening. Siemens also won the award for the best stall in the IT Nations pavilion. Shri. D B Inamdar, Minister of State for IT and Tourism, Mr. K M Shivakumar, Principal Secretary IT, BT and Science & Technology, Mr. B V Naidu, Director, STPI and Mr. Jawaid Akhtar, Director of Information Technology gave away the awards.
The stalls were judged by an eminent panel of judges and were evaluated on several criteria such as stall design, product display and presentation. The size of the stall was not relevant. The judges praised the efforts of all the participants and found the competition very close.
