MUMBAI, INDIA: US-based Fulcrum Logic, global software solutions provider, has announced its plans to invest $50 million over a five year span in India, with about $10 million in the first phase, and about $40 million in the second phase.

The company is set to increase its headcount in its Mumbai and Pune facilities from 400 to 1200 in the first phase, and reaching 4500 in five years. With a current sales revenue of $25 million, the company expects to reach a turnover of close to $150 million within five years, Fulcrum said in a statement.

Government of India has allotted a land to set up a global knowledge campus to in the new upcoming Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, SEZ complex at Hinjewadi - Phase III, Pune. Fulcrum Logic would utilize this land for building its eco-friendly campus with every facility to provide a productive and conducive work environment to its employees. The campus is to accommodate around 1,500 employees.

Rajesh Sinha, president and CEO – Fulcrum Logic, said, "Being an end to end solutions provider, customers in US and Europe are realizing the unique combination we provide in terms of IT, Business and Management Consulting, coupled with global delivery framework, and this has helped us emerge as an alternative to the big six consulting firms in the mid size market."

Fulcrum Logic would be creating customers dedicated development unit in their upcoming campus of Hinjewadi. Leading office automation company from New Jersey has awarded a three year contract for nine million dollars. Fulcurm's websphere portal practice has booked order value of $12 million from California based customers to be delivered in the next three years, Fulcurm statement said.

With the global headquarters in Short Hills, New Jersey, Fulcrum Logic has technology development centers in the east and west coast of US. The company has been able to successfully expand to European markets through its presence in London, UK and Dublin, Ireland, and now plans to target customers in Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.
