Features: Sybase Inc., a provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has announced the launch of Financial Fusion's Consumer Banking Solution 6.0, an innovative online banking application with enhanced multi-user entitlements, ACH based interbank transfers and Federal Financial Institutions Examinations Council (FFIEC) compliant security enhancements.

According to a Sybase statement, the Consumer Banking Solution 6.0 enables banks and financial institutions to meet FFIEC authentication guidelines, gives users the ability to personalize their online account experience, manages accounts and performs a variety of advanced self-service functions.

The solution also provides the ability to transfer funds, pay bills and set up and receive alerts on critical account and transaction events. It allows members to initiate both domestic and international funds transfers between accounts at different financial institutions and open new accounts online.

"With this new platform customers have a single underlying architecture that supports multiple applications across the enterprise that comply with new security regulations," said Richard Pledereder, vice president of Solutions Engineering for Financial Fusion and Information Technology Solutions Group, Sybase.

"We are continuing to lead with innovation, expanding the boundaries of consumer online banking by exposing to the consumer capabilities previously reserved for small businesses."
