BANGALORE, INDIA: With the e-commerce industry booming, logistics has become a challenge to connect remote and urban parts of the country. Addressing this challenge, Connect India today launched its services across the country aiming to connect the entire country.

Intending to solve the problem for e-commerce players, Connect India aims to create a pan India last mile delivery network which will cover more than 25,000 pin codes in urban area, outreach to more than 500,000 villages and 8000 small towns.

LR Sridhar, CEO, Connect India, explained that the company's business model aims to create delivery centers within 1km in the urban markets which will make multiple deliveries feasible within the same day.

The distribution platform will also generate rural enterprise empowering rural artisans and produce who can benefit from the e-commerce platforms.

LR Sridhar also that added that the services provided will be environment friendly and with the increase in delivery centers, the company plans to create 250,000 jobs in a span of next 5 years.

Aaviskaar has recently invested Rs. 32 cr in the company, which will be used to enhance operations across rural areas.
