GOA: Concerto Software is all set to foray into the SME call center market. With a turnover of $184 million last year, the company is targeting a turnover of $270 million in the current fiscal. Concerto will invest around $ five million in India for expansion and more if needed.

Concerto has over 75 business processing outsourcing companies as customers, out of which 20 were added last year alone. It plans to add more customers to achieve 50 percent growth over last year.

At an event hosted by Concerto in Goa, Concerto president and CEO James D Foy and Concerto Asia-Pac and Middle East VP Pramod Ratwani informed that the company would continue to strongly focus on the facility at Bangalore, which is already increased by 50 percent since its inception. This facility not only caters to the India requirements, but is also the hub for the APAC operations of the company. It also plays an important role to support the global corporate offerings of Concerto.

Concerto has currently developed two solutions for the SME market. One of them, DCP Solo will be introduced next month. This product is targeted at call centers ranging from 8-10 to 100 seats.

Concerto's focus for 2005 is to continue to build and provide services and solutions for the contact center and the focus areas for these services will be telemarketing, collection, customer service, and BPO outsourcing.
