"Spam is clearly not only an issue for large organizations; 90 per cent of emails in every business are estimated to be spam and with email volumes doubling year on year, it is a problem that will only increase in severity," said Ankur Bhatnagar, European Channel Leader Cisco IronPort.

He added that with the email and web security products Cisco IronPort enhances Cisco's Borderless Networks approach, to pro-actively verify that a customer's network is highly secure, reliable and functioning optimally. Cisco IronPort's products are highly regarded in the channel.

The Cisco IronPort products rely on the sensorBase Network, said a press release.

SensonrBase measures more than 25 per cent of the world's messaging traffic -- receiving over five billion queries per day. SensorBase is unique in that it even collects data from the networks of organizations that are not IronPort customers. IronPort shares data with other large ISPs in a data peering relationship.
