Commscope appoints Chadha as MD, India & SAARC

MUMBAI, INDIA: CommScope has appointed Sandip Chadha as MD for India and SAARC. Chadha will be responsible for driving a multi-disciplinary strategy to serve business enterprises and expand regional business opportunities within the enterprise market in India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Previously, Chadha managed the Lucent Technologies’ Systimax enterprise cabling business in India, and then moved within Avaya to grow the enterprise telephony and call center business in 2002. Next he moved to Sydney as the CEO for GlobalConnect Australia in 2006. He was also with Avaya Global Connect Ltd (AGCL) in India.

“Developing strategic channel relationships and creating demand are my primary focus,” said Chadha. He added, “These are aligned with CommScope’s goal of maintaining sustainable growth and expanding support in key emerging markets. I am eager to help customers take advantage of CommScope’s technically advanced network infrastructure solutions, such as the newly introduced Systimax 360.”
