The site covers features like development, control rules,

urban indicators, filling planning, obtaining permissions and other details of public

utilities and services. A list of promoters who have been issued caution notices and

particulars on tenders are also featured here.

The other interesting feature of the site is that it makes

the sanctioning of plans possible within a certain time-frame. The disposal of

applications and response details will take a time span of 10 to 60 days, depending on the

nature of the project. Planning permission for multi-storeyed buildings will take about

two and a half months as it would require recommendation from the State Government.

Besides this, for special buildings and layouts, the stipulated processing time is 45

days.

Grievances can be addressed through href="mailto:greviance@cmdachennai.com">greviance@cmdachennai.com.

The public can contact the member secretary at the address href="mailto:ms@cmdachennai.com">ms@cmdachennai.com.
