Daniel Gambino, senior VP, says: "The time is now. I keep hearing about the cost of these new systems, it's really the classic case of we can't afford not to. At the corporate level we are concerned with coverage analysis and business distribution at the state and regional level. At the sales force level it comes down to mapping and analyzing towns, blocks, and individual stores.

"The value of this software is to integrate that and much more, and also show what we are selling and where we are selling it. It allows us to anticipate regional demands and market trends product wise, and how to best support our new independent distributors as we complete coverage in each region. We're a bit past the push pins on a map stage here."

Senior technology expert, Marcus Becker says: "In addition to helping a sales rep fully realize their territories potential, automated route optimization software will structure a sales representatives' week by retailer availability and priority. The automation of this technology for Clearette's mobile teams will reduce dramatically fuel costs, one of the largest overhead items in any route business."

Becker predicts savings in the 20-30 percent range with corresponding increases in productivity and sales.
