NEW DELHI: Citrix Systems revealed its new thrust on gaining value-added

channel partners in India. This move came along with the present scenario, where

market is moving on tight strings. It would be looking at bigger channel

partners, with stringent scrutiny of them and finally choosing the best of the

breed.

"The Citrix solutions are about providing redundancy proof solutions

right at the initial stages of an IT solution," said Citrix India director

marketing Kishore Badami. The company is looking at various SIs, VARs and valued

added channel partners, which can position Citrix right at the initial stages of

the infrastructure planning of any IT-related project.

With broadband and basic services in place, as per Citrix, Business

Development Manager (Global Consulting and SI), Phil Osborne, "Our services

are not mere boxes or simple solutions. It is more than mere boxed solutions,

extends to an integrated service for the end consumer. For this a similar

channel partner is our priority."

Right now Citrix has 70 channel partners, which it wants to streamline and

add to. The total number the company is looking at is close to 100.
