Cisco has tied up with Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), an apex industry body representing leading vehicle and vehicular engine manufacturers in India for this event.

Three international speakers from Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) will fly down to India to discuss global trends in the auto industry, with specific emphasis on challenges, opportunities and technologies relevant to the Indian business environment.

Commenting on the event, Jangoo Dalal, Sr. vice president-Enterprise, Cisco Systems (India & SAARC) said, "An increasing number of global auto majors are eyeing India as a regional sourcing hub - either for auto components, engineering services or ready to export passenger vehicles. Against this background, India's auto community requires that their processes match those of the global players. The upcoming auto summit will provide value to CEOs, COOs, CIOs, business managers, and investors by helping them quantify and qualify their investments, and understand the key business drivers of the auto industry in the future."
