SAN MATEO, Calif: GetJar, announced seven winners during the Gettie Awards ceremony. The winners from around the world were honored at the ceremony for their successes and innovations of their best applications across all major platforms.
There were 7,000 nominations across over 100 countries, said a press release.

Winners from seven categories were determined by review of the actual physical applications. And the Gettie Award winner was determined by judge’s votes.
