Sudipto Ghosh will develop the end-to-end customer service and support across the three business segments of consumer, relational and SMB
NEW DELHI, INDIA: Lenovo India today announced the appointment of Sudipto Ghosh as executive director- service and support. In his new role, he will lead customer service, steering the Contact Center, Field Service, Service Business and Customer Delight functions for Lenovo India, said a press release.
Sudipto will develop the end-to-end customer service and support across the three business segments of consumer, relational and SMB.
Sudipto's area of expertise lies in setting up service provider networks, world-class contact centres, state-of-art repair centres, central support warehouses and all-in-one regional support warehouses.
Announcing the appointment, Amar Babu, managing director, Lenovo India said ''We are pleased to appoint Sudipto. He comes with a proven track record in leading the Service business. Sudipto will aggressively chart out clear cut service and support strategies and transformation to help us enhance customer service and customer delight in India.''

Prior to Lenovo, Sudipto has held senior roles such as chief customer support officer of Acer India, where he played a critical role in creating the company’s service infrastructure. His other successful stints have been with Compaq India, Pertech Computers Limited and Tata Steel.
Sudipto holds a B. Tech Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering as well as an MBA in Technology Management. He is an Honorary Member in the Advisory Board of The Service Council, Boston, USA, which is a global community of Services Executives.
