HP's initiative to make SMBs more innovative

BANGALORE, INDIA: Hewlett-Packard, has today unveiled innovation-driven imaging and printing solutions designed for SMB segment. The company anticipates adoption of mobility and solutions that deliver value-for-money.

As the worldwide printing market is set to become $175 billion by 2013, the imaging and printing major, as a dominant player with 14,714 patents, goes gung-ho over mid-sized businesses.

The portfolio now include: HP ePrint Enterprise mobile printing, HP EcoSMART Fleet, HP Access Control Express, HP Access Control Professional and hp Imaging and Printing Security Centre.

HP India PPS director Nitin Hiranandani said that their offerings have world’s most energy efficient laser printer. The company also believes that their growth is fueled by affordability and deeper market penetration.

“We are addressing the evolving business needs of our customers with new set of solutions that will improve their work-flow efficiency, security and operational efficiencies,” Hiranandani said.

Gurpreet Kanwal, country business manager, PMPS and Solutions at HP India PPS division said that they brings to fore, a unique portfolio that has integration of products, services and solutions.  

“Our imaging and printing solutions are designed to offer SMBs, the advantages of secure and managed print environment, reduced costs, and facilitates control over printing fleet,” she said.

These solutions, Kanwal informed would help businesses create smart and intelligent and smart printing infrastructure, which in turn would help in cost reduction and enhanced productivity, while lowering the environmental impact.
