New heatsink from Newark element14 ensures no excess heating

CHICAGO, USA: Newark element14 has launched the Heatsink for the Raspberry Pi to protect it from overheating.

The heatsink with adhesive thermal layer, costing $7.49 is available from Newark element14 and MCM in North America, Farnell element14 in Europe, CPC in the UK and Ireland and element14 in Asia Pacific.

It reduces the risk of hardware failure due to overheating. Being low profile, the heatsink will fit into most cases.
Other features include simple, passive cooling and no need for noisy fans. It is perfectly sized for the Pi's CPU.

Specs include 13mm x 13mm x 10mm (H x W x D), 0.005kg weight, thermal resistance of 25°C/W, and self adhesive thermal layer for easy application.
