EPFO has instructed the employers to furnish the Aadhaar numbers of existing PF subscribers and the core banking account number

BANGALORE, INDIA: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has instructed the employers to furnish the Aadhaar numbers of existing PF subscribers and the core banking account number of all the contributing members.

The facility to upload information on employer portal is yet to be made available.

Till then, the EPFO has asked the employers to maintain the information in excel format.

The government had recently announced that the direct cash transfer scheme will be implemented for realising Provident Fund (PF) benefits.
