NEW DELHI, INDIA: With an aim to enhance its marketing effort, Gurgaon based Shyam Networks Limited (SNL), a data communications focused company has appointed Zia Askari as its head of marketing for B2B segment, said a press release.

Zia holds over 12 years of experience in technology writing and communications. Before joining Shyam, Zia has worked with Huawei Telecommunications and prior to that he worked with RAD Data Communications for over two years as its Marcom manager for Indian region.

He started his career with CyberMedia, India’s IT specialty media house in the year 2000 and worked with its different publications like CyberMedia News, DQ Week, DQ Channels and Voice&Data ConnecT.

“We are very happy to welcome Zia Askari at Shyam Networks. Utilizing, digital, PR, ATL and BTL activities, he will be playing a very important role for us in terms of positioning our brand and creating a marketing platform for us in India as well as internationally,” said Nafis Kazim, executive vice president, Shyam Networks Limited.
