Priced at Rs 99,990, the new workstation is equipped with quad-core Intel Xeon processors
NEW DELHI, INDIA: Hewlett-Packard (HP), a well-known technology leader today unveiled 27-inch All-in-One Z1 workstation, which the company described as a masterpiece and a product of extensive design research and innovation.
The new Z1 workstation allows users to tilt and swap out parts, and make upgrades. With such a product, the company said that they have taken user experience to the next level.
Priced at Rs 99,990, the new workstation is equipped with quad-core Intel Xeon processors. It gives flexibility to users to choose from a variety of storage options that include 10K SATA, SSD and RAID configurations.
Z1 is equipped with 27-inch diagonal wide LED display that supports 1.07 billion viewable colors through A-FRC technology. It comes with in-built remote graphics software, which facilitates users to work remotely and access 2D, 3D and rich multi-media applications.
HP (PSG) APJ VP for accessories, services and client solutions Anneliese Olson said that they are driving and ensuring innovation while designing solutions for consumers. Focus areas, she said include: new core technology, reliability and game-changing aesthetics.
"It's industry's first product since it has full-featured workstation and commercial-class design," Olson said. With revolutionary innovation, the company said that new Z1 demonstrates unparallel form factor.
HP, as per IDC study enjoys 53 per cent market share in workstation segment in India, while close to 60 per cent financial markets operate on HP workstations worldwide, told the company officials during the India launch.
The company is targeting professionals such as photographers, designers, architects and CAD draftsmen in addition to an array of industry segments that include media and entertainment, financial markets, healthcare, hospitality and manufacturing.
HP has also expanded its workstation lineup with the introduction of industry-leading Z820, Z620 and Z420 that features eight-core Intel Xeon processors with 512 GB of DDR3 memory.
