MUMBAI, INDIA: Servion Global Solutions Ltd - a specialist in Customer Interaction Management, announced the appointment of Samir Sayed as vice president and Head, Sales - India SBU with effect from May 1st, 2012, said a press release.
An industry veteran with nearly two decades of experience, Samir was most recently vice president-National Sales (Emerging Practices) at AGC Networks. Before that, he worked at Avaya GlobalConnect Ltd., as regional director-South and moved up the organization as director-national sales (emerging verticals) and vice president - national sales (new customer acquisition and channel operations)
In his role at Servion, Samir will be responsible for consolidating Servion's leadership position in the CIM industry by working closely with existing customers. Samir will also be directly responsible for increasing growth of the India SBU by 40 per cent through specific focus on acquiring new clients.
Samir holds an engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications and is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
