Microsoft Surface Tablet reportedly doesn't provide cellular connectivity apart from Wi-Fi

Surface Wi-Fi TabletBANGALORE, INDIA: The highly anticipated Microsoft Surface Tablet reportedly doesn't support cellular connectivity of any sort.

The only connectivity that it supports is the Wi-Fi connectivity. Even the 3G/4G connectivity is not present in the Tablet as of now.

So the question at this point in time would be “ If not 3G/4G what else?”. Users of the Surface Tablet might not be able to make effective use of the gadget with only a Wi-Fi connection.

This aspect is surely a not so good sign for people eagerly anticipating the Surface. With lots of pre-launch hype, the Surface Tablet was expected to have at least the 3G/4G connectivity.

There are also various reports which state that Microsoft has cut down on the various connectivity options in order to make the pricing of the Tablet competitive ( can be thought of as low cost). But there arises lot of questions regarding people opting for the Surface.

The Surface Tablet might solely be rejected on the grounds that it doesn't provide good connectivity since Wi-Fi connection support is provided even in the most basic Tablet PC models.

Microsoft Surface Tablet will run on the Windows 8 operating system and is expected tobr ing back Microsoft's lost glory. But one question at this stage would be “ Why the compromise in features when people are ready to shell out more for a more reliable Tablet PC brand?”.
