BANGALORE: Hewlett-Packard today announced the introduction of a new product line, which includes the Integrity rx2600 entry-class server, a new version of the HP-UX 11i operating system and a new model for the BladeSystem c-Class environment.
The products are aimed to facilitate mission-critical virtualization practical for businesses of all sizes. Specifically, the HP Integrity rx2660 is targeted at the SMB market, and is versatile enough for porting, application serving, testing and development.
The new HP Integrity BL860c Server Blade combines the flexibility of the HP BladeSystem c-Class infrastructure with the robustness of the HP-UX 11i operating environment and the dependability of HP Integrity Servers.
HP-UX11i v3 operating system is designed to manage over 100 million zettabytes of storage (1 zettabyte = 1 billion terabytes). It offers mission-critical virtualization capabilities, helping customers pool computing resources to increase server utilization and reduce costs.

Along with the new Integrity servers, HP has also launched new channel programs to help broaden the reach of its computing platform.
