NEW DELHI: Sun Microsystems India has launched a 'Trade In' promotional scheme for its Indian customers. The scheme offers discounts to customers who trade in their Sun or non-Sun hardware products for Sun's latest product range.

The scheme is valid until September 30, 2006 on the following products- Sun Fire V490 & V440 servers, Sun StorageTek 3320 SCSI RAID array and Sun StorageTek C2LT03 Autoloader.

Commenting on the scheme, Baba Sam, marketing director, Sun Microsystems, India, said, "The "Trade In Promotion" helps customers protect their initial investment and save on upgrade costs, thus helping them get the most value from their old systems and storage in return for the latest Sun products at great prices. In addition it also helps them reap the benefits of the latest technologies from Sun."
