BANGALORE: Symantec Corp. it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Personal Firewalls, 1Q06 report.
According to the report, "The personal firewall market in 2006 is transitioning from best-of-breed products to endpoint security suites that combine personal firewall with malicious code defenses, such as antivirus and anti-spyware, and policy enforcement based on physical device port defense and some form of network access control (NAC)."
