BANGALORE: Jataayu Software said that Samsung has used its  MMS client and WAP browser technology for its latest  music Smartphone - SGH-i300.

Mahesh Jain, Managing Director, Jataayu Software, said: “We consider this collaboration with Samsung to be a tremendous milestone for our technology and a win that will be shared by customers and operators. It is evident that such endorsements are fast driving Jataayu towards a significant presence in the MMS and WAP Browser technology markets of the future”.

The 3GB hard disk drive handset, features “Plug & Play Files-to-go” capability that allows the phone to function as a removable hard disk drive. According to the press release, the large storage functionality on the phone extends the usage of the SGH-i300 by truly enabling the multimedia capabilities, as it is capable of storing up to 1,000 music files.

The seamless integration of the MMS client and the WAP Browser on the SGH-i300 brings to the fore the multimedia functionality and enriches the user experience, stated the press release.
