BANGALORE: Jataayu Software, Bangalore-based mobile solutions provider launched its browser technology for mobile browsing.

The jB5 with ART does not stop at supporting only the standards and specifications that govern the internet world, but adds significant new functionality for providing a truly mobile experience, by supporting the OMA standards, as well, said a statement from Jataayu.

“Jataayu believes the browser is the key element in any mobile device, and the principal interface for access to mobile data services”, said Mahesh Jain, Managing Director, Jataayu Software.

A rendering mechanism, Adaptive Rendering Technology - ART,  provides the most usable adaptation of web pages for mobile phones, said the company.

“jB5 with ART is currently the only browser to offer users the full power and benefits of the Mobile Web by bringing together the amazingly varied content and services available on the Internet with the truly mobile facilities of being able to deliver pushed content, receive confirmed downloads, and integrating telephony with the web”, said Arun Tanksali, Director Engineering at Jataayu.

The company also recently announced that the world's first PDA phone featuring TV, the Gigabyte g-Smart employs Jataayu MMS client technology.
