HYDERABAD: Solix Technologies, an Information Lifecycle Management provider, has expanded the capability of its flagship product, Solix ARCHIVEjinni, to semi-structured (e-mail) data management.

This allows customers to perform Archiving, Purging, Masking and Subsetting across multiple segments of enterprise data (Applications, e-mail and Documents), Solix said in a statement.

"More and more customers are recognizing data archiving as a key strategy to manage the data growth. Enterprises should look into archiving products that offer a single comprehensive solution for managing data across all data segments (Applications, e-mail, Documents), rather than buying a point solution for each of them -- this would eliminate integrating multiple archiving solutions and eventually enable organizations to provide search capabilities across all segments of enterprise data," says Raymond Paquet, managing vice president at Gartner.

The explosive growth in e-mail and corporate scandals has created the need for enterprises to focus on email records management. Solix ARCHIVEjinni - Email Archiving solution addresses the most critical business and regulatory requirements for email compliance, the company said.
