BANGALORE: Eurotech Technologies, the Bangalore-based technology distribution company has announced the launch of BestNet fibre-optic patch cords that covers both single mode and multimode transmission applications.
The newly launched cords are OM3-compliant and come in a 3mm jacket cable with ceramic ferules and supports network transmission speeds of 10GB.
Eurotech said in a statement that this patch cord allows customers to future proof their installations and reduce the total cost of owner ship by maintaining compatibility with the existing multimode LAN technology systems.
The BestNet brand of fibre optic patch cord and the complete product set would be available in India through a wide range of channel partners, VARs and Eurotech's regional office in New Delhi.
The BestNet patch cord solution is offered with individual test report, giving details of Insertion Loss and Return Loss with serial number of each patch cord and provides a simple upgrade path to meet the future demands of Gigabit Ethernet Transmission speeds and bandwidth intensive applications such as SAN, streaming video and medical imaging, the statement said.
