CHENNAI: Broadband service provider YOU Telecom India Pvt. Ltd has entered into a technology deployment agreement with Motorola and US-based Sandvine Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sandvine Corp.

YOU Telecom today said in a statement that it would deploy intelligent broadband solutions from the Motorola/Sandvine team to further enhance online customers.

Sandvine’s technology will give YOU Telecom visibility into its network traffic in order to offer high-quality Internet services to over 150,000 subscribers. Motorola, a long-term technology provider to YOU Telecom, will complement Sandvine’s efforts by offering sales and first-level support, YOU Telecom statement said.

EVS Chakravarthy, CEO, YOU Telecom, said, “We are always on the look out for innovative means that will enhance customer’s broadband experience. In this context, we are pleased to be working with Motorola and Sandvine to offer our customers a high-quality experience including high speed performance and reliability for their valuable broadband applications.”

“YOU Telecom would deploy Sandvine’s latest PTS 14000 platform network-wide, across 10 cities in India. This solution will provide YOU Telecom the visibility and tools needed to meet the needs of dynamic broadband networks and broadband users across the country,” he added.
