BANGALORE: The Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) has certified Tejas Networks' TJ100 family of packet-aware optical networking products to be compliant to the specification of MEF-14 (Traffic Management certification) and MEF-9 (Carrier Ethernet Services Tests) by Iometrix testing labs.
Tejas said in a statement today that its family of TJ100 products passed all the tests scenarios in first round itself.
"We are happy to receive the certifications from MEF, which reinforces our strategy to invest in the development of Packet-aware optical products that enable our customers to leverage their existing investments to offer premium revenue-generating Ethernet services," said Sanjay Nayak, chief executive officer, Tejas Networks.
