BANGALORE: QUALCOMM Incorporated, a developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), has announced the agenda of speakers from more than 45 companies for the BREW 2006 Conference, to be held May 31-June 2 in San Diego.

Centered on this year’s theme of “BREW Your Way,” the event will focus on the creativity, flexibility and revenue-generating opportunities the BREW solution enables for companies around the world, according to a QIUALCOMM statement.

This year’s conference features an expanded series of business and technical sessions led by BREW experts, industry insight from some of the most successful members of the wireless value chain and an up close look at the BREW solution, including uiOne, deliveryOne and marketOne.

The conference’s general session will commence on Thursday, June 1 with a special welcome address from Peggy Johnson, president of QUALCOMM Internet Services and MediaFLO Technologies, followed by a keynote address from Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, QUALCOMM chief executive officer. Johnson also will deliver the keynote address on Friday, June 2. BREW 2006 will feature a presentation by John Stratton, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless, and Scott Dinsdale, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, executive vice president, Digital Operations and New Technology, as well as several other keynote speakers to be revealed in advance of the show.

“QUALCOMM’s vision for the future of wireless data resulted in the creation of BREW, a flexible solution that drives the discovery and delivery of data services,” said Peggy Johnson, president of QUALCOMM Internet Services and MediaFLO Technologies.
