NEW DELHI: Flextronics Software Systems (FSS), a provider of telecommunication and data communication software solutions, today announced the release of its Wi-Fi WLAN security and mobility software products.

These products are also part of FSS' "OEM-Ready" WLAN Switching Solution (WSS) software, targeted for the growing WLAN switching market.

Worldwide wireless LAN equipment revenue grew to $753.6 million in Q3-‘05, and is forecast to reach $4.2 billion in 2008.

The FSS WLAN security software is compliant with IEEE-802.11i and the WLAN mobility software is compliant with IEEE-802.11F standards.
