HYDERABAD: ADP Private Limited, the subsidiary of US based Automatic Data Processing Inc. (ADP), today announced its plans to launch operations in Pune.

The Pune facility will expand ADP India’s operational capacity and will also serve as a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery centre for ADP India’s Hyderabad operations, an ADP statement said.

Gary C Butler, president and chief executive officer, ADP, said, “In addition to this new facility in India, we have recently announced two new US facilities and will continue to evaluate expansion opportunities aligned with the company’s domestic and international growth.”

The new facility will be located in SP Infocity at Hadapsar and includes over 1,00,000 square feet of working space. This centre will house R&D functions as well as BPO offshoring support to ADP’s global business divisions and clients. Initially, the Pune centre will employ around 300 associates and will ramp up to 1,000 associates over the next two years.
