NEW DELHI: ProCurve Networking, a business unit of HP and enterprise LAN switch vendor, has launched its 1400 unmanaged Gigabit Switch series and 1700 Web Managed Switch series for the small and growing businesses in the country.

Subhodeep Bhattacharya, country head, ProCurve India, said, “We have taken a completely standard-based approach to networking, and are committed to engaging with small and growing businesses in India. We also ensure the highest levels of interoperability, as our designs play well with every other vendor’s solutions.”

ProCurve 1400 unmanaged Gigabit Switch and 1700 Web Managed Switch series are suitable for deploying in open spaces and for growing businesses. They are affordable, easy to use and offer high-performance, ProCurve said in a statement.

The ProCurve 1400 Series is ideal for building trusted networks, consists of two fan-less unmanaged Gigabit switches, the 1400-24G and the 1400-8G. These feature high-bandwidth connectivity and plug-and-play simplicity for enhanced collaboration.

The ProCurve 1700 Series switches are Web Managed, fan-less 10/100 Layer 2 switches, consisting of 1700-24 and the 1700-8. These provide basic management and configuration capabilities, such as VLANs and Link Aggregation, which are configured via an intuitive Web interface, ProCurve statement said.
