NEW DELHI: Cosmos Co-operative Bank Limited has chosen IP networking solutions provider Huawei-3Com (H3C) as the preferred partner for its core switching and wide area network to connect its 69 branches.

Through the implementation Cosmos intends to provide value added services to its customers on real time basis.

“Having a strong hold on the banking and financial sector, it was not difficult to provide the cost effective infrastructure requested by Cosmos Bank. The bank had an existing legacy network consisting of WAN and LAN and wanted the new Core switches to interoperate with the legacy devices perfectly with high reliability and availability,” said Eric Zhao, managing director, H3C India Private Limited.

“Our decision to upgrade stemmed from wanting to provide new and value added services to our customers. After a thorough trial period, we found both the function and performance of H3C’s solutions to be excellent in compatibility and reliability. Moreover, we considered H3C switches to be very convenient to implement and maintain,” said SV Bugde, managing director, Cosmos Bank.
