MUMBAI: Siemens Ltd has announced its strategic alliance with Huawei-3 Com to offer futuristic IP-based voice, data and video network solutions, which optimizes the total-cost-of-ownership for Indian enterprises.

Focusing on the Indian market, the combined Siemens-Huawei-3Com products and solutions are intended to accelerate the deployment of high performance networks, which are now essential infrastructure for all enterprises in India.

The company's communications enterprise networks (Com EN) Division and Huawei-3 Com, a joint venture of 3Com, US and Huawei, China, announced an extension of the recently signed global partnership to the Indian enterprise market.

This alliance will offer networking solutions to the entire market spectrum from SOHO to large enterprises, designed to meet its specific requirements at a highly attractive total cost of ownership.

According to Peter Gartenberg, executive vice president, Com EN Division, of the company, "In India, there is a huge demand for networks that can carry increasing data traffic and high quality voice and video over IP. In order to serve this potential, Siemens has partnered with Huawei-3Com to provide solutions that are both, technologically superior and high value in terms of total cost of ownership."

He further added, “We are already an established leader in delivering the industry’s most comprehensive communication enterprise solutions and our alliance with Huawei-3 Com will further strengthen our portfolio."
