NEW DELHI: Cisco Systems has announced that Infotech Enterprises has deployed a Cisco powered network comprising of Layer 3 Catalyst 4500 Series switches with Virtual Area Network (VLAN) and Supervisor (SUP) Engines.

Infotech Enterprises is a software services company with core competencies in geographic information systems (GIS), engineering design and IT services for the telecom, enterprise, government and retail markets.

Infotech Enterprises combines extensive software development capabilities with global delivery and project management. Infotech Enterprises chose to deploy Cisco equipment to enhance and monitor their Local Area Network (LAN).

Cisco Catalyst 4500 series switches with VLAN and SUP engines provide advanced security, better monitoring and increased uptime.
