Subex's integrated platform for ROC

Monday, January 08, 2007

BANGALORE: Subex Azure Limited, vendor of revenue maximisation for telecom operators, today unveiled a new identity for its integrated suite of software solutions.

Called ‘Rocware’, the suite consists of six solutions that have also been re-branded in order to reinforce the global nature of the company’s business, according to Sanjeev Gadre, Senior Director, Marketing. “This announcement comes at a time when we seek to address a robust, global market for revenue maximisation solutions. The new brand identity clearly articulates our compelling vision of the Revenue Operations Center,” he said.

The ROC is a centralised and integrated operations infrastructure to monitor, control and ensure integrity of the entire revenue chain. For instance, revenue assurance, fraud risk management, interconnect billing, interparty management and routing optimisation are connected to form a single revenue chain. It is expected that telecom operators will establish a strategically important ROC in the near future.

Rocware’s six solutions include Moneta (a complete revenue assurance solution), Nikira (an advanced fraud management system), Prevea (helps telecom operators quickly assess the liability or risk posed by their customers), Concilia (enables operators to quickly and accurately settle interconnect agreements with their network partners), Symphona (enables billing) and Optima (provides tools to manage network cost information supplied by other operators).

“The company’s sales force and business partners will undergo extensive training to understand the value and strength of the new names and our customers can expect continued expertise, stability, quality and support from Subex Azure, wherever in the world they may be,” added Gadre.
