CHICAGO: Fieldglass Inc., a provider of contingent workforce management and services procurement software, today announced the release of InSite 4.1.4.
This latest release of the company’s flagship software product provides even broader functionality addressing the procurement and management of contingent labor and other external services such as consulting projects, outsourced and offshore functions, a Fieldglass statement said.
InSite 4.1.4 offers key enhancements and new features that continue to streamline the user interface, allow clients to build teams efficiently and with confidence, and address requirements for managing a global workforce.
"We are confident that this release will benefit all our clients, partners, and the suppliers on our network," said Sean Chou, chief technology officer at Fieldglass.
"We continue to streamline the user experience allowing for more flexibility while navigating through InSite. And in direct response to the market and in an effort to ensure our clients remain competitive, InSite 4.1.4 provides the ability to manage a pool of pre-qualified candidates. Our clients, especially those in regulated industries such as healthcare, can now build and approve a pool of pre-qualified candidates that can be made available with extremely short notice. This, along with further enhancing the international functionality, makes this release of InSite a very compelling solution for managing a truly global workforce" he said further.
Usability enhancements for InSite 4.1.4 are customer and partner driven and based on extensive end-user testing and collaboration with client usability teams. A number of subtle changes, such as additional configurable business rules, introduction of more sophisticated views of data, and expansion of the reporting library, contribute to the ease of adoption by InSite users.
These enhancements highlight critical, decision-making information, streamline workflow, and allow the client to better manage compliance for improved organizational performance.
Build Teams with Speed, Flexibility and Confidence
New pre-qualification and certification features in InSite 4.1.4 help contingent workforce management and services procurement professionals build teams with speed, flexibility and confidence.
Clients may now identify and pre-qualify job seekers prior to creating a job requisition, empowering buyers with the option of creating and maintaining a pool of qualified and available candidates for specific job types. And new certification management functionality allows users to monitor the status and expiration dates of worker licenses and certifications.
Pre-qualification along with the ability to manage certifications is highly beneficial to clients that need to fill positions within days, or even hours, such as in healthcare staffing.
"Healthcare staffing is an obvious competitive market. It is not uncommon for hospitals to perform much of the staffing manually. This is both time consuming and costly. InSite automates this type of unique, on-demand staffing process permitting hospitals, and their suppliers, to streamline this task as well as reduce the time needed to complete the task," said Sean Chou.
InSite 4.1.4 leads the field of contingent workforce management and services procurement solutions in features and functionality that enable international deployments. InSite has long had support for double-byte languages, date and number formatting as well as currency conversion. With InSite 4.1.4, a number of challenges faced by clients and partners that have operations spanning multiple countries are addressed.
"InSite 4.1.4 further exemplifies our position as the most technologically advanced and user-friendly contingent workforce management and services procurement solution on the market," said Jai Shekhawat, chief executive officer, Fieldglass, Inc.
"With this release, InSite continues to provide value to our customers, their suppliers, and our partners by offering a global solution that caters to both operational as well as strategic services procurement initiatives. This is a very gratifying milestone for Fieldglass," Shekhawat added in this regard.
