CHENNAI: Enterprise applications provider Ramco Systems today announced a significant order win from FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd, a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and Rothschild, engaged in providing premium quality fresh produce to the markets worldwide.

A Ramco statement said that its applications would address FieldFresh’s complex supply chain management requirements apart from providing financial management, sales management, procurement management, inventory management and corporate performance management.

“We are happy to partner Ramco who we believe have the ability to provide applications that address our current and future business needs,” said Sanjiv Gupta, vice president - finance, FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd.

Ramco’s applications includes certain components that have been tailor-made especially for FieldFresh Foods such as constraint based ATP (Available to Promise), aircraft space availability, farm accounting inclusive of grading and sorting feature, package of practices (changes to BOM), transportation related requirements, farm maintenance and a myriad of reports specific to FieldFresh.
