CHENNAI: i-flex today said that it was gaining from Oracle association after the latter picked up stakes in the banking solutions company.

Rajesh Hukku, chairman and managing director told CyberMedia News on the sidelines of the annual meet of i-flex that after Oracle picked up stake in the company it was perceived to be part of the Oracle, but in fact, he clarified that i-flex is a separate entity, except for that there was a board member from Oracle.

“In terms of business the post-stake scenario had been a gainful one, with certain banking clients of Oracle being offered solutions from i-flex, and a lot of i-flex clients were being roped in by Oracle,” he said further.

On the future plans of being in the banking sector, Hukku said the success of i-flex had been concentrating on the single sector with specializations for over 14-years now.

“We would be concentrating on Basel-2, and Reveleus, software packages for compliance and anti-money laundering, which would also be offered to banks in India,” Hukku said.

On being asked about the developed of these two packages, he said that it were some smaller companies which i-flex had aligned with to offer it to the banking sector, thus branding itself as a complete banking solutions provider.
