NEW DELHI: Eastern Software System (ESS), ERP company offering technology solutions and services today announced that its flagship product "ebizframe" has been successfully ported on to Oracle Database 10 g and the Oracle Database 10g release of Developer/2000.

This will give ebizframe customers the benefit of the various research and development initiatives carried out by Oracle for its new version of database including sophisticated database management tools, option of grid computing and the ability to manage growth.

Anil Bakht, chairman and managing director, ESS, said, "We, at ESS, are pioneers in offering Oracle 10g based enterprise software in India. This is yet another example of ESS being proactive in technology on behalf of its customers."

Oracle Database 10g is specially designed for grid computing. Ebizframe customers can now derive benefits of grid technology with minimal investment, zero disruption, and fast ROI. Oracle Database 10 g also lowers the cost of ownership and delivers high ebizframe ERP application availability with Real Application Clusters (RAC) and many automated management features.

Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (Oracle Database XE), a new entry-level edition, can be downloaded at no cost by SMB users. Therefore, they need not buy any database for first few years post ebizframe ERP application implementation.
