CIO Predictions: Virtualisation stays big

INDIA: Before you wait for new hype cycles, it seems that many front-burner areas of 2012 continue to stay on high flame even this year.

Virtualisation, for instance, is going to be a big area going forward as Chetan Trivedi, CIO, Vedanta anticipates.

" I see it as a big ticket item. The cloud trend is also good but there are still apprehensions about it and with issues like legal framework etc, is still not so hot."
