- China Mobile has launched extremely competitive 4G tariffs that are roughly 50% the cost of their 3G equivalents. It is looking to regain its lost market share amongst high value subscribers after struggling to compete in the early days of 3G in China.

- China Mobile will represent roughly 10% of all LTE devices by 2018. China Mobile is the world's largest mobile operator by subscribers, and its foray into LTE is extremely significant for vendors and all other players in the supply chain.

- China Mobile has currently launched only four LTE devices of which two are handsets from Samsung and Huawei, and two are dongles. China Mobile could also start selling the iPhone soon as its negotiations with Apple, which are reportedly at an advanced stage, conclude.
