Offering UC in the cloud brings customers the benefits of reliable, mobile, and cost effective enterprise-level communications tools with high-level mobility and agility. Cerium's native offering of cloud-based UC solutions, trademarked CeriumSky, includes enterprise UC "as a Service;" Video as a Service (VaaS), which provides virtual conference room services; WiFi as a Service (WiFiaaS), which affords organizations the capability to provide wireless network access across multiple locations; and Microsoft Office 365. Cerium will host several webinars in April as a series of Launch Events showcasing capabilities of the CeriumSky tools.

CeriumSky - cloud services that reign

"Agile businesses need IT infrastructure that is flexible, scalable and intelligent. CeriumSky solutions deliver customized, hybrid, on-premises and cloud-based services that effectively meet those needs. As an experienced provider of unified communication solutions, Cerium's expertise serves as the foundation for the cloud services of CeriumSky," says Scott Thone, VP of Services for Cerium. Deploying cloud-based UC gives organizations the ability to meet the needs of today's mobile and geographically dispersed workforce by providing services to virtually any device, anytime and virtually anywhere. Cloud-based UC integrates multiple communications and collaboration tools such as IM/chat, email, VoIP calling, web/audio and video conferencing, and voice mail behind a single user interface designed for both PC and mobile usage - regardless of workforce location or device type.

Cloud-based solutions allow businesses to reign supreme with their communications and collaboration ability. Cloud-based solutions also capitalize on the virtualization of servers for greater computing efficiency, bringing enterprise scale infrastructure to small and mid-size businesses, and enable a scalable and fast provisioning of IT resources. "Cerium's Solutions Architects can guide businesses' IT decisions to a higher altitude. Our experienced professionals develop a road map to help companies achieve their communications goals, providing effective on-premises and cloud-based hardware and software solutions. This keeps companies agile and reduces their technology commitment - it allows them to focus IT efforts on operations instead of infrastructure," says Thone.

Cerium has a rich heritage of delivering premises based solutions over the last 14 years. The company is headquartered in Spokane, Washington, and has offices in MT, OR, WA and ID. In addition, the Cerium Express office, which focuses on businesses with 150 employees or less, is located in Kent, Washington. Much of Cerium's growth is attributed to the company's diversity in service and solution offerings, and continuous evolution in pace with industry technology. "Establishing a relevant family of mature, successful, cloud-based services is a logical step for Cerium in our evolution as a company," says Scott Thone, VP of Services at Cerium. "We're offering solutions that provide the best combination of features and integration capabilities for our customers. CeriumSky fits firmly within our core business of providing Unified Communications solutions." Cerium expects to expand the offerings within CeriumSky in concert with customer goals.
